From Roses to Rubber: A May To Remember At SET

June 3, 2025

May was a month to remember for our team and guests here at SET, as we hosted two of the most iconic sporting events in the country: the Kentucky Derby and the Indianapolis 500! With weekends full of excitement, tradition, and unforgettable experiences, our guests got to check off some major bucket list items.

A Derby Week To Remember

Our Kentucky Derby guests indulged in a luxury experience that blended Southern charm with thrilling race-day excitement. We kicked off the weekend with an evening reception featuring an industry guest speaker, accompanied by drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Over the next two days, we offered an immersive look at Kentucky’s storied horse and bourbon culture. Thursday included breakfast at the American Saddlebred Museum, followed by a distillery tour. Friday’s agenda featured a trip to Keeneland Race Course and other horse farms to gear up for the big race day.

On Derby day, we headed to Churchill Downs for the 151st Run for the Roses! It was a day full of tradition, fashion, and the thrill of one of America’s most renowned sporting events.

Full-Throttle Excitement At The Indy 500

After a quick turnaround, our team geared up for The Greatest Spectacle in Racing! Our Indy 500 guests kicked off the weekend with a cocktail reception featuring a motorsports industry speaker.

Saturday’s Legends Day experience included admission to the IMS Hall of Fame Museum and a private IndyCar garage tour. On Sunday, guests were treated to a race day like no other! This included premium reserved Tower Terrace seats and transfers to Speedway, complete with a police escort for seamless, stylish arrival. This weekend was sure one for the books!
