Refinery Hotel is the imaginative reinterpretation of the Colony Arcade—a former hat factory and Prohibition-era tea room. More than 100 years of Garment District history are on display at this luxury hotel near Bryant Park. With an unprecedented degree of precision, much like the milliners before who stitched elegant hats, the hotel transformed a factory building into stylish loft rooms with soaring ceilings, the acclaimed Parker & Quinn restaurant, and our fashionable Refinery Rooftop bar.

Please note this is an approximate, working itinerary and timing of events is subject to change.

What does “land-only” cover here?

Everything except air travel, airport-to-hotel transfers, and baggage handling, you get yourself to Albuquerque, and SET handles the rest from hotel check-in on.

What’s included in the package?

Three nights at Sandia Resort & Casino, a Friday Welcome Dinner featuring a Balloon Fiesta guest speaker, admission and motor coach transportation to Balloon Fiesta Park for Saturday and Sunday’s Dawn Patrol and Mass Ascension, plus Saturday evening’s Balloon Glow. Your package also includes Gondola Club hospitality—breakfast and dinner seating, a limited open bar, and live entertainment—an optional Saturday shuttle to Old Town Albuquerque, admission to the Anderson‑Abruzzo Balloon Museum, Monday’s farewell breakfast, souvenirs, credentials, on‑site hosts, and all taxes and gratuities.

What is the Gondola Club, exactly?

It’s a private, upgraded viewing area inside Balloon Fiesta Park featuring a gourmet buffet, a host bar limited to three drinks per person, premium sightlines for all launches, dedicated shuttle service, private restrooms, live entertainment, and a souvenir gift—an elevated experience beyond general festival admission.

Can I go up in a hot air balloon myself?

You can, but not through the package. SET can connect you with Rainbow Ryders—the festival’s preferred hot‑air balloon ride operator—for an optional add‑on. Please note that the ride itself and transportation to the launch site are not included in your tour price.

What are the room pricing options?

Single $4,579, Double $3,499, Triple $3,199, Quad $3,039, and Child (12 and under) $1,809, with a max of 4 adults or a mix of adults/children per room.

Are deposits refundable?

No, deposits are non-refundable, so travel insurance is recommended in case of unforeseen changes.

What’s the general schedule for the trip?

Friday begins with hotel check‑in and a welcome dinner featuring a Balloon Fiesta guest speaker. Saturday includes Dawn Patrol and Mass Ascension in the morning, followed by the evening Balloon Glow and fireworks—both with Gondola Club access—and free time between sessions. Sunday offers another early‑morning Mass Ascension visit, an afternoon at leisure, and a Sunday evening dinner at the resort. Monday concludes with a farewell group breakfast and checkout. The itinerary is approximate and may adjust based on weather or event timing.

How will I receive my travel documents?

Typically two to three weeks before departure via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx, though tight-turnaround events may go out by email instead. Let your booking agent know if you’ll be away from your mailing address during that window.

Can someone else travel in my place, or can I book for another person?

Yes, put the actual traveler’s name on the reservation; your own card and billing details can still be used to pay.
