Travel Protection
While travel insurance is not required, Sports & Entertainment Travel highly recommends purchasing travel protection. Your trip is an investment, and travel insurance can help protect you from unexpected circumstances that may affect your plans.
Depending on the plan you choose, travel protection may provide coverage for things such as trip cancellation or interruption, emergency medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip delays, baggage delays, and more.
*If you are traveling through one of our university partners and they have a preferred travel insurance provider, you will receive information about that option directly from the university.
*For all other SET travelers, we can recommend a travel insurance provider once you have booked your trip.
NOTE: Travel insurance is provided by a third-party insurance group, not SET. Coverage, benefits, limitations, and exclusions vary by plan. We encourage you to carefully review the policy details before purchasing to make sure the coverage meets your needs.

Trip Cancellation
Protects travel investment and helps you recover non-refundable prepaid trip costs if a trip is cancelled due to a covered reason.
Trip Interruption
Protects travel investment and helps you recover non-refundable prepaid trip costs if a trip is interrupted due to a covered reason.
Trip Delay
Provides reimbursement for reasonable additional costs such as accommodations, transportation, and meals if a trip is delayed 5 hours or more due to a covered reason.
Emergency Medical & Dental Expenses
Provides coverage for the necessary medical, surgical and emergency dental care costs, if you become sick or accidentally injured while on a Covered Trip.
Emergency Medical Evacuation/Repatriation
Provides coverage for emergency evacuation, if necessary, to the nearest suitable hospital of your choice, and also includes repatriation.
Baggage and Personal Effects
Provides reimbursement of baggage or other personal effects that are lost, damaged or stolen while on your Covered Trip.
Baggage Delay
Provides coverage for the emergency purchase of essential items if your Baggage is delayed for 12 hours or more during your Covered Trip.
Travel Assistance & Concierge Services*
Includes a wide range of services before and during trips through a 24/7 toll free number.
15 Day Review Period
If you are not completely satisfied within 15 days of purchasing a plan, Travelex will refund your premium cost, if you have not departed on your trip or filed a claim.
